Medical Writer:
We are currently looking for a full-time Medical Writer to join our growing accredited medical education company. We are professionals that strive to deliver the highest quality medical education programs. If you excel in a collaborative team environment and have a minimum of five years experience developing content in the hematology oncology area, we encourage you to apply to our company. This is primarily an office-based position; however, some telecommuting may be an option depending on project requirements.

Our Medical Writer will be responsible for the overall scientific leadership of their therapeutic area (focus on hematologic malignancies), providing clinical direction to team members, developing and writing content for their specific projects as well as reviewing scientific content created outside MediCom. This position will have direct interaction with leading key opinion leaders. The Medical Writer is required to travel to project specific advisory board meetings, and at times, may be required to attend scientific congresses. Projects may include development of clinical content which includes case studies, text based and power point slides. Must be knowledgeable on the appropriate guidelines including, but not limited, to the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support, PhRMA Code, and OIG Guidance.



Account Manager of Oncology:
We are currently looking for a full-time Account Manager of Oncology to be a vital member of our dynamic CME team of professionals. Some of the challenging career opportunities of this key position include:

Assume responsibility for the growth and development of established and/or new online communities of health care professionals in targeted therapeutic areas
•   
Oversee development of novel, strategic, technology-forward tactics that support effective education of health care professionals in a variety of media and formats; these include online video, mobile platforms, live meetings, and print
•   
Coordinate current and develop new strategies for communicating with health care professionals concerning the availability of effective educational activities through MediCom’s online communities
•   
Work with President and other Company Executives to develop educational opportunities and long-range management strategies
•   
Provide guidance and assistance in the development of educational plans and strategies for new educational initiatives
•   
Review projects for scientific accuracy, therapeutic relevance, and identified educational objectives in conjunction with the oncology medical team
•   
Assess the scope of all assigned projects and identify the range and depth of support necessary for achieving objectives
•   
Direct project teams on all aspects of project briefing, planning, scheduling, budgets, and resources
   

Other opportunities include ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with ACCME, OIG, and AMA guideline requirements for CME; managing and coordinating the development of needs assessments, budgets, and grant requests to ensure all are executed on budget and within timeline; overseeing content appropriateness, scope and accuracy, as well as distribution efficiency and format.

A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, with at least the last two years in an oncology account manager role in a CME environment;

We are seeking an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager (position title based upon candidate experience) to liaison between internal project management and external stakeholders. The successful candidate is a self-starter who will report on program metrics. They will also provide feedback to the team about the outside environment and appropriate strategic avenues for exploration. The Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager will support MediCom presentations and travel to onsite congresses and other meetings to support all stakeholder relationships.



Project Manager:

The Project Manager must be self-starter who can work independently. The Project Manager will develop and manage multiple projects, keep the internal team on-task, and provide ongoing metrics of the effectiveness of various MediCom educational initiatives. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Candidates should have experience in medical education, project management, needs/outcomes assessment, data analysis and reporting. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.



Grant Writer:
MediCom Worldwide is looking for a full-time Grant Writer to join our growing accredited medical education company. The Grant Writer will be responsible for preparation and management of grant proposals and the grant solicitation processes, including but not limited to grant writing, submission, tracking, and reconciliation. The successful candidate will have a strong history of developing accredited medical education programs. They will work with internal staff to develop grant request budgets and the grant solicitation strategy for industry support. In addition, they will work with MediCom Medical Writers and Medical Directors to develop program agenda. They must be knowledgeable on the appropriate guidelines including but not limited to the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support, PhRMA Code, and OIG Guidance.
